Spring Break Trip To Utah!!

I know I'm late getting to this but what can I say I've been busy and I'm lazy! Jessica already talked about our great adventure to Utah! woot woot! but i have all the pictures so here's a brief tour of our trip!

OK so first we went to the aquarium! It was really fun. We saw fish from Utah first then we moved on to the Salt water fish which ranged from jelly fish, crazy colored fish, and poky looking things. Then we moved to the jungle animal/fish there were frogs, piranhas, snakes, alligators, and turtles. Then after the aquarium we went to IKEA!!! best store eva! I actually walked out of that store sore and thinking wow i feel like i came from the trek all over again. you really can get lost in that store good thing Jess has a good sense of direction!

But we thought it would be a kiddish adventure to build a bear! Oh and it was... there were all these little kids running around making their animals and then there was us the teenagers. Oh and i felt so much like a kid but that's OK cause that store wasn't around when i was a kid so i needed to have the experience! Below is some pictures of our animals.

My bear Ryanne and I!

Oh also did i mention the good food! We ate at Olive Garden, Famous Daves and Cracker Barrel and COLDSTONE (best ice cream eva)!

It was a great weekend with my parents and my favorite and only little sister miss Jessica!

Special Olympics 2009

I just had one of the best experiences yesterday! I got the chance to go to Bogus Basin to cheer for the special Olympians. I never knew how much fun it would be to stand out in the cold. It was so great! Just seeing there faces when they were skiing down the hill was tear jerking. They just glowed. It just amazed me how good they are. I have a new appreciation for the Olympians and the people that support them! Before we got off the bus we all got matching hats and when we got there and were cheering and everything, a lot of people from the other countries wanted to know where we got them and how they could get them. It was a great environment. The love that was going around was just contagious!

This is my beautiful cousin Hailee and i when we just arrived.

This is some of the scenery up there at Bogus it was very pretty.

This is a picture of us and some of our friends from Finland. The cute boy in the front was so amazing when we were done taking the picture he gave us all a big hug and told us he loved us! Then later he saw us and ran over and gave us a hug again.
Here we are with some kind people from Great Britian. Then guy insisted on holding my flag then when i let him he was like ha ha i have two and ours is bigger!
This is us and a really nice guy from Ireland. We totally loved his hat!
This us and some of the Olympians and their trainer from Japan. He was so cute he was saying stuff to them in Japanese and they would laugh.
This us and a really cute guy from Monoco. He was counting how long it took us to take pictures with all 4 of our cameras. It was so hilarious.

I had the time of my life. We met alot more people from more countries like France, Austria, CSM (not sure what it stands for), Croatia, Germany, India, and Canada. They were all wonderful and the kids were just a joy. This is a day i will NEVER forget.

An Answer To The Question

Everyone (especially boys) always ask me, Shelby why do you cry so much. How can you be so emotional. wow I've never met anyone who cries that much. How can you cry that much, don't your tears ever run out! but i have now found the answer to the question. This is a Quote by Alex Tann:
"Perhaps our eyes need to be washed by our tears once in a while, so that we can see life with a clear view again."

That is a good enough reason for me. But not only do you see clear again, crying actually makes me feel a lot better! i know that is hard to believe but i honestly feel so much better after i cry and freak out for a while. Now you all know:)
